The South Bass Taphouse is a new addition to Put-in-Bay, Ohio. This pub opened in 2017. A relaxed vibe and friendly bartenders are paired with live entertainment, parties, and plenty of sports on TV. It is also opened all year long. A favorite of locals, The South Bass Taphouse is sure to be a hit with the summertime crowds.

The South Bass Taphouse Entertainment

Besides hosting nights for the Super Bowl, World Series, and the like, the Taphouse is home to stellar musicians like Matt Goodrich. Named the Cleveland Area’s Favorite Local Artist in 2017, Matt provides a great soundtrack while you enjoy craft brews and cocktails. They also have ping pong tables so get ready for a game or twenty. Things can get a little competitive here!

The South Bass Taphouse definitely offers a very impressive list of craft brews. If you are looking for a Bud Light, this isn’t a place. A favorite is the Catawba IPA. The bartender’s are truly committed to serving the best beers in the region. They are all well-versed on craft beers, dedicated to the craft, and love answering any questions visitors may have. 

Downtown Put-in-Bay

Located right across the street from Perry’s Park, the South Bass Taphouse is right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of downtown Put-in-Bay. Enjoy a hearty meal at Tipper’s Seafood and Steakhouse before heading to the Taphouse. There are also plenty of other delectable options.

The Commodore Resort Hotel is around the corner. This complex features Subway for a quick bite, MIST Pool Bar, and the favorite, Mr. Ed’s Bar and Grille.
