The 3 Whiskey 2 Pilots Association (3W2, the island’s pilots association led by Ray Fogg) is so pleased to be coordinating with their friends in the Put-in-Bay Car Parades for the upcoming Sunday’s August 9th combined Fly-in/Antique Car Event from 11am – 4pm. The National Park Service plans on keeping a full-time superintendent and staff at a Lake Erie island landmark monument for 2015 and moving forward. Ohio Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur says the Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial on South Bass Island will remain a separate unit of the park system.
