The Lake Erie Islands Conservancy received a grant from the Ottawa County Community Foundation to support the Great Lakes Islands Alliance meeting to be held on the Lake Erie Islands in October. Lisa Brohl attended the grant breakfast held in June in Port Clinton to receive the award. Thanks again to the Ottawa County Community Foundation for their continued support! We are excited to participate also in the fall meeting with representatives from other Great Lakes Island communities.
The Lake Erie Islands Nature and Wildlife Center received a grant from the Ottawa County Community Foundation for more educational exhibits for the Center. Director Renee Fultz attended the grant breakfast to accept the check from the Foundation. These funds will go toward more interactive displays for the new addition.
