Holiday Bazaar
We had a very successful Holiday Bazaar Thursday, November 17th, 2022 with the Lake Erie Islands Nature and Wildlife Center and the Lake Erie Islands Conservancy at the Put-in-Bay Town Hall! Thanks for all who had a table or came out to shop! The Conservancy still has t-shirts and calendars for sale. Our 2023 Conservancy calendars are $20 each and have beautiful photos by island photographers of our preserves! We can mail for an extra $3 or you can call Lisa Brohl 419-366-2087 or stop by the Island Hardware Store to pick one up. Call Renee Fultz if you want any Lake Erie Islands Nature and Wildlife Center sales items at (419) 380-1239.
Conservancy member Jeanine Steinle offered a Tastefully Simple Fundraiser to benefit the Lake Erie Islands Conservancy. Visitors to the Bazaar got to taste the delicious Nana’s Apple Cake and Beer Bread from Tastefully Simple. Jeanine also donated a basket of Tastefully Simple products to raffle at the Holiday Bazaar-we sold over $180 worth of tickets that night and the winning ticket holder was Linda Parker! Thanks Jeanine for thinking of us! Mary Ann Meyers had a basket of Mary Kay cosmetics to sell to benefit the Conservancy as well. Thank you, Mary Ann!!!
We also had brats/hotdogs/buns donated by Patty LoPresti which we received donations for during the Bazaar as well! We appreciate the use of Village Town Hall and wish to thank their employees Aaron Shaffer and Jenny Fuchs as well as Elizabeth Heineman, Michael McIntyre, Susan and Mike Byrnes, Tom Thanasiu, Russell Brohl for help in setting up that day!
Thanks goes out to vendors OSU Stone Lab, PIB High School Environmental Club, Elizabeth Heineman, John Baker, the Dobos family, Jessie Greene, Sandy Funtal, Donna Mitchell, John Baker, Lake Erie Islands Historical Society, The Perry Group, Karen Wilhelm, Betsy McCann, Nate Seaberg, Jill Cooks, Sarah Cochran, Heather Durdil, Browns Backers, Kelly Mohn, and the Put-in-Bay EMS. The Browns could not make it to sell peanut brittle that day, but are taking holiday orders if you call them at (248) 225-7888.
