Crazy for a Clambake? Grab a plate full of fabulous fresh food for a great cause. It’s the Put-in-Bay Volunteer Fire Department’s Annual Island style Clambake! This annual event is held Saturday September 21st from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the fire station on Concord Avenue. You’ll find the fire station directly behind the senior center. The Clambake serving includes a dozen delicious clams, half chicken, corn, potato, fresh fruit, and vegetables. Tickets are just $25 per person. Enjoy a fantastic island meal and help support a great cause. Proceeds from the Fire Department Clambake are dedicated to purchasing updated equipment for the Put-in-Bay fire department.

Pickup your clambake plate from the station and enjoy a picnic in the fresh breeze. There are many beautiful spots on the island to grab an open table. Just a short way downtown is DeRivera Park. There, you find picnic tables and restrooms. Alternatively, pack up your meal and head back to your Put-in-Bay home away from home!
