Moss on the Rock
Mother of Sorrows
Supports Rahab’s Heart
Throughout the month of March, Mother of Sorrows Church will be collecting items for Rahab’s Heart, a ministry supported by the Sisters of Notre Dame in Toledo. Items you may donate include: toiletries, alcohol-free hand sanitizer, $5 McDonald gift cards, mints or gum, and socks. These small items can easily be placed inside a pair of socks and handed to women who live on the streets of Toledo. Thank you for supporting a ministry inspired by God and supported by the Sisters of Notre Dame, including our former Parish Leader, Sister Lucille! The Rahab’s Heart collection basket is located in the Church narthex.

State Park Docks at Oak Point
What’s going on with the Oak Point State Park docks? This is a question ODNR officials have been getting on an almost daily basis. For the last couple of seasons they were closed due to erosion behind the sea walls. Plans are in the works to correct this issue. A geological survey company recently came out and took soil samples of the park to determine what needs to be done to fix the seawall issue. The ODNR is hoping to take corrective action in the near future.
