Proposals for Seawall Restoration Project
In April, the National Park Service (NPS) began soliciting proposals on a full and open basis from all interested businesses having the capability to perform the renovation work on the Monument seawall. The solicitation was issued electronically on the Governmentwide Point of Entry (GPE) website at https://beta.sam.gov/. Proposal documents were available for download in Microsoft Word, HTML, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe PDF; Specifications are available in Adobe PDF format; and drawings are available in PDF format. Specific instructions on submitting proposals could be contained in the solicitation documents that were issued in mid-April.
Vendors could search for the project solicitation on https://beta.sam.gov/ without registering. This website has a “watchlist” where a company could add their interest by registering in beta.sam.gov. Specific instructions could be found on this website. Registering provides the opportunity to receive notifications; this is a tool of convenience only and does not serve as a guarantee of notification.
For questions about the contract solicitation, contact NPS Contracting Officer Bai Perney at bai_perney@nps.gov or 303-987-6766.
