As we enter the final month of 2025, our students and staff continue to shine both in and out of the classroom. November was a busy and exciting month at Put-in-Bay School, and December promises to bring even more memorable moments.
Thanxmas Concert —
A Wonderful Community Event
On November 20th, Mrs. C.C. Wisniewski and her talented music students presented our first annual Thanxmas Concert. This performance was moved up this year due to some special circumstances. The performance was outstanding and truly captured the spirit of the season. Thank you to Mrs. Wisniewski, our student performers, and the many families and community members who attended and supported this special event.
Veterans Day Celebration
On November 11th, Mr. Schuffenecker, Mrs. Wisniewski and Mrs. Schneider organized and led an excellent Veterans Day Ceremony in the high school gym. It was a heartfelt tribute to our local veterans and a meaningful opportunity for students to reflect on the service and sacrifice of those who have protected our freedoms. Thank you to our staff, students, and community members who helped make this event so special.
All-Star Basketball Games — Come Support Our Panther Cubs!
Our youngest athletes kicked off their season as the All-Star Basketball Teams opened on November 24th in the high school gym.
Families, students and community members came out and cheered on our Panther Cubs as they showcased their growing skills and teamwork.
Panther Basketball Season Is Underway
Our Panther basketball teams are gearing up for an exciting winter season. The teams held a productive scrimmage on November 15th, giving our athletes valuable early-season experience and momentum.
We are now preparing for one of the highlights of our winter athletics—the annual Beaver Island Basketball Tournament, scheduled for December 12th and 13th. Both our girls and boys teams will be competing under the leadership of, Coach Schuffenecker, Coach Goodwin and Coach Filipovich
We are especially proud to have strong senior leadership this season from Cody Kowalski and Lukas Kostura. We wish our student-athletes safe travels and great success as they represent Put-in-Bay with pride!
