Sun Stoppers caters in the best sunglasses for any activities. Whether it’s boating, biking, golfing, sunbathing, driving, or walking, the Sunglass Ladies, Laura and Anne outfit each patron specifically for their needs at their downtown Put-in-Bay stand.

The Story of Sun Stoppers

Sun Stoppers is known for its customer service and expertise. Laura Utterberg has been selling sunglasses at trade shows since 1986. A lover of the outdoors herself, Laura understands how important eye protection is. Once she discovered the charms of Put-in-Bay, she decided to set up camp. She credits the welcoming nature of Put-in-Bay locals to her decision to stay.

The shop is tucked away right behind the Boathouse Bar and Grill on Delaware Avenue. They carry a range of styles and types to guarantee everyone leaves the shop happy. Laura and Anne’s specialty are polarized lenses, which eliminate glare from the water and snow. These are the ideal shades for boaters, fisherman, and other lovers of the water.
