Put-in-Bay is brimming with artisans of all kinds, each one making the island a special destination. Jesse’s Jewelry is a labor of love by local artist Jessie Greene and her parents. She collects stones from her adventures on the island and beyond.
Her father cuts and carves each stone, carefully polishing them to perfection. Her mother helps crochet delicate lines based on Jessie’s designs. Each piece is singular and special.

Jessie creates custom work as well as sells her ware at The Keys Restaurant. The Keys is a popular Caribbean themed spot located right on Lake Erie. Adjacent to the Jet Express terminal, The Keys glitters and shines, its lights reflecting on the lake.
Centrally located just off the main drag of Put-in-Bay, The Keys and Jessie’s Jewelry is easy to visit. Once you pick out a special new piece of jewelry, grab a seat on the deck and take in the lake views. The Keys makes delicately hand breaded perch extra special with a side of tropical tartar sauce. Invoking a summer on The Keys in Florida, every dish here is brimming with flavor.
With a robust cocktail menu, order a slice of Key Lime Pie and a fruity rum drink. What a great combo! Frozen drinks can be had at Lola’s, also located on the premises. They serve Fat Tuesday Brand frozen drinks in Keys plastic cups.
This place is a hub of food, drink, and art, all on the shores of Lake Erie.
