Testimonials
Joe K: “Our first visit to Put-in-Bay. We couldn’t get a room at our first choice, which turned out to be good luck because we had such a great stay at Ashley’s. Very short walking distance to the heart of the village, but far enough to be away from the nightlife noise. Our room was quiet, well-appointed, comfortable, and very clean. Laurie, the proprietor, is very friendly and helpful, she made us feel like we were visiting a dear friend. The hot breakfast was tasty, and the front porch offers a relaxing perch for watching island life pass by. I actually preferred being on Catawba Ave. versus a quiet side street, it was fun to see all the happy people going by in their golf carts.”
Alyssa T: “If you want an amazing place to stay that is close to town, this is your place! Had a great experience here with family and the owner, Laurie, is the sweetest lady you’ll ever meet who will do everything to ensure that you are comfortable. Would rate this place 6 out of 5 stars if I could. Would definitely stay here again!”
Michael D: “This is a very special B&B for me as I spent part of my honeymoon here. The house attracts a somewhat quieter crowd than some and is great for an outing or romantic getaway. It’s quite close to the downtown area and within walking or biking distance of the island attractions. They offer free bicycle rentals and a good price on golf carts. I definitely suggest leaving your car on the mainland and taking an island taxi to get to the house when you arrive by ferry.”
