There are many events on the island throughout the year geared towards families and are kid friendly. Examples include: Ship House Tours, the Annual Pyrate Festival Weekend, Jeep Invasion Weekend (parade), Amphi Car Show Weekend, Historic Weekend, Art in the Park, etc.
There is a well-known and respected music scene on Put-in-Bay. In the high season, there is live entertainment and several Put-in-Bay Bars every day. A variety of talented musicians can be expected, especially on weekends and during Bash on the Bay!
Put-In-Bay Ferry Prices for 2024: $18.00 round-trip per adult on Miller’s Ferry and 37.99 round-trip on the Jet Express. These prices may not be set in stone, so please call either Miller Ferry or Jet Express to double check.

Absolutely! Put-in-Bay is a great place to take a family for a visit or extended stay. There are so many fun Things to Do and learn on the island. Visit a National Park, State Park or one of the numerous nature preserves. All while having fun driving around on a Golf Cart Rental!
One of the most popular events is the annual Put-in-Bay Pyrate Fest. This event occurs the last weekend in June each Summer. The island is overrun by pirates, complete with cannons and tall ships in the harbor. Another popular event is Bash on the Bay, where famous artists come every year in mid-August to sing their hearts away and turn up at the Bay!
During the week at Put-in-Bay there are so many fun events happening. A great starting point is the Lake Erie Islands Nature and Wildlife Center. They have kid-friendly events scheduled throughout the season, many of which are during the midweek.
The island has many great things to do. Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial, the Butterfly House, Ohio State Fish Hatchery and South Bass Island State Park are just a sampling of places to go while on Put-in-Bay.
The Bash on the Bay Concert August 21st and 22nd (2024) is headlining Jelly Roll on Wednesday and then Hardy on Thursday.
