Artists Performing at Bash on the Bay
Our headlining act this year is Ohio’s own Rascal Flatts! If any act embodies the place to which country music has evolved in the new century, it is Rascal Flatts. Since their inception in 1999, the trio has helped change the face of popular music. Their trademark sound–Gary LeVox’s powerfully emotive lead vocals coupled with the soaring harmonies of Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney, set amid world-class arrangements and production, have made the band the standard bearers for cutting-edge country.
Chris Lane takes the stage right before Rascal Flatts this year. Since releasing the buzzy “Fix,” Lane racked up shout-outs from celebrities such as Brett Eldredge, Florida Georgia Line, Lucy Hale, Dustin Lynch, Cole Swindell, and more. He landed at No. 1 on Billboard’s Twitter Real-Time Emerging Artist chart the day of release. The irresistible song became one of the most shared tracks on Twitter in the U.S. from an up-and-coming artist. “Fix” shaped Lane’s sonic direction. It is also the title track of his newly released EP produced by the award-winning Joey Moi.
Cory Farley is one of Nashville’s hottest acts. He was one of the opening acts at last year’s bash and has become the island’s top country act at T&J’s SmokeHouse. His energy radiates throughout all his shows. He brings the same excitement no matter if he is playing down on Broadway or on a little island in the middle of Lake Erie.
